Desire's manufacturing facility which has the capacity to manufacture 240,000 square feet annually and can easily double this production upon demand. The Desire factory is located 50 minutes outside of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In our factory, we respect the Vietnamese countryside threading as light as possible on the earth and implementing eco-friendly policies including water filtration, rainwater reclamation, locally sourced materials, re-use and re-purpose of local waste materials, and recycled packaging. Surplus tile, and factory seconds, are donated to our team members or others in the community or are crushed and reused. factory strives to implement eco-friendly policies wherever it can. DESIRE is the the only cement and terrazzo manufacturer to understand and employe Western quality control standards to always deliver tiles with superior quality to any other tiles on the market. That’s because our founder, Kirsten Carabin was born in Texas and learned the industry in the US and Europe before traveling to Vietnam to learn the traditional manufacturing methods.
