Our Founder

Kirsten Carabin followed the tiles from Europe to their manufacturing birthplace in Vietnam. Kirsten had no international business experience but brought her passion to preserve and elevate the art of the cement tile. She convinced the Vietnamese government to allow her to work in their cement tile factory to learn the trade. She worked for months in this factory, alongside her soon to be core team,  producing and elevating the art of the cement tile until the factory was closed by the government.

 

 

Undeterred, she built  a new factory, which shockingly was stolen by the unscrupulous expat factory manager. Determined, with the help of her team of artisans,  now close friends, led by the beautiful and talented Le Hang, they rebuilt. Today, the team produces their premier tiles in their factory just outside of HCM City.
